Dr. Jessica Weis grew up in Millstadt, IL. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Community Health at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign before receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, and the St. Louis Optometric Society. Dr. Weis serves as a fellow optometrist to Dr. Gans at SureVision Eye Centers, in the areas of surgical co-management, post-operative care, and ocular surface disease.
She gained clinical experience through rotations at SLU Ophthalmology, St. Louis area private practices, Carondelet Family Care Health Center, and the Optometric Vision Development Center in San Diego, CA.
Her areas of interest include primary care, geriatrics, specialty contact lenses, ocular surface disease, and surgical co-management.
Dr. Weis enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and 3 pets, tending to her houseplants, and reading. She is extremely excited to begin work alongside the wonderful staff at SureVision Eye Centers.
