Jason M. Newman, M.D.

Jason Newman, M.D. joined SureVision Eye Centers in 2015. Dr. Newman is originally from the central Missouri town of Belle, where his family still resides. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri and was elected to the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society. He received his medical doctorate from the University of Missouri School of Medicine and completed his Ophthalmology residency training at the Saint Louis University Eye Institute. He has participated in medical outreach programs for underserved patients in the United States, Mexico, and India. He lives in St. Louis with his wife, Emily, who works in public health as a Family Medicine doctor for uninsured and underinsured patients.

Dr. Newman practices full spectrum eye care and would love to serve you by providing you and your family evidence-based medical and surgical care for your eyes. His surgical interests include cataract surgery, astigmatic correction, and non-invasive glaucoma laser procedures. He uses the latest technology in intraocular lenses, and looks forward to discussing a lens that meets your needs and budget following cataract surgery.
